The main reason why I chose to make videos is that I really enjoy watching videos. I like watching people to express themselves and convey information through videos. After watching plenty of videos, I started thinking maybe I can also create some videos to express myself. Thus, I use this opportunities to give it a shot. Besides, I’m also interested in editing videos. I want to practice this skill in my project. I know sometimes it’s hard to decide what you should do for your project. For me, I just chose what I am interest in and my hobby as my project.

In completing my project, I did face some challenges. I’m from China, which means I am not familiar with YouTube and Instagram. Thus, creating videos on YouTube and managing my Instagram account were quite challenging for me. Besides, my plan was uploading five videos in one month, which means I will upload two video per week. So it was a test to my efficiency and my schedule.

For benefits of my project. I would say people will feel happy and inspired after watching my videos. I added retro style to my videos, which made them more interesting and trendy. My videos are about fashion. My audience can absorb some information about trend and fashion from my videos. Besides, I used some interesting ways to edit videos. My audience can also learn some different editing ideas from my videos.

My project also bring me a host of benefits. I learned how American social media works during completing my project. I practiced my editing skills. Because of the tight time, I also raised a habit which is making schedules. I appreciate that I had the opportunity to do the thing that I wanted to do for a long time. The experience of managing YouTube channel and social media account is so valuable to me.
